We're Moving!
When we moved into our current store, it was so much larger than our first, that I never dreamed we'd outgrow it. Fast forward three years and here we are, bursting at the seams. Then Marty Myers retired and this huge space became available. There will be 800 more square feet on the ground floor for the book collection, a large balcony level for book clubs and used books and a third floor filled with mixed community use. The basement will be a members-only space for fantasy role-playing gamers.
I don't know exactly when we will move, but it should be in early July.

We collaborated with the Russell County Historical Society and Arcadia Press to publish this fabulous pictorial history of Russell County. From our beginnings in the 1870's to the 1980's, this book showcases all of the communities in our beautiful county. This picture is our building in the 1920's.
